WATER

Elton and Peyton LOVE the water!! Whether its in the bath, in the pool, on the sidewalk or in the sink. They will find it and get as wet as they can. Lately Peyton has been wanting do whatever Elton is doing. Usually that would be fine but they are 3 years apart! Peyton doesn't really get that and Elton is still learning "Oh she is tiny and that probably hurts her". But luckily this time it was just sweet the way he wanted to include her. Elton found some of those sponge things that dissolve in water and turn into something. He filled the sink and dumped a handful in. Then he got the stool and wanted Peyton to play with them too. Since she is a little too short I just held her on the counter and they had a blast. I love watching them play. She adores her big brother and he takes such good care of her.

WORKING

My parents own the house next to us and my dad wanted to remodel the bathrooms, and make them huge. Branden his dad and others have been working really hard to get it done. Since Branden and his dad are over there all the time working Elton thinks he needs to be helping too. The other day I came outside to get him and I found him on the roof with Papa Phil hammering away "working" so hard. He was having the best time. He is so all boy!!

STROLLING

Peyton WONT walk she could if she wanted too, but she wont! She loves taking a few steps smiling at us then dropping down and crawls away. WHAT THE HECK!! REALLY?? Anyway she has been loving walking with her new baby stroller. It is really very sweet, she puts her baby in and takes it out gives it loves. Shes a very sweet little mamma already.

BLOCKS

For Peyton's birthday she received some really fun gifts. Most of them were "girlie" so Elton wasn't real sure about them. But then she opened the BLOCKS it was a heavenly moment for Elton =) Needless to say that was his favorite gift! Thanks Evie and Jesse!!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY PEYTON!!

Last night we had Peyton's first birthday party at the Clubhouse. It was so much fun and all her little friends were there. Everyone had a great time.(I hope) Peyton loved it she did not want to be held at all by me. She just wanted to go and play and do her thing. She hardly even wanted to eat, crazy girl! But she did want to eat her cupcake and she really enjoyed it! =)

LOST and FOUND

For about the last week our crazy dogs have been escaping from our yard. It has been driving me CRAZY!! Then the other day right before I had to take Elton to school I realized "Oh our dogs have been really quiet" I go to check on them and once again they have weaseled there way under the fence and down the baranca. Usually they come back when they get tired but on this particular day they DID NOT! We were so sad, Elton cried and prayed, our friends prayed, we went to the shelters and of course they were closed. So we prayed some more went to bed. When Elton was done with school on Wednesday we went back out to the shelter we walked the whole thing looking in every kennel. Then we went into the office to check they told us to look in another area as we were walking over to the last kneel... there were our boys! Together!! It was so awesome they were so excited to see us. God was so good to save our two crazy dogs.

ITS OFFICAL

He is his fathers son!! Yesterday we went to court and finalized the adoption. Elton is officially a WENGER. We could not be more excited! Elton had no idea what it was about, he just thinks he has always been little Wenger and that Branden has always been Daddy. I love it and so does Branden. At first Elton did NOT want to go to a meeting he said he was staying with a babysitter and totally not going. I had to explain that we all had to go. Branden's brother and dad came so did my parents it turned out pretty good he got a stuffed Rhino that he named Rhinee and a sucker. What a perfect meeting =) He even told Peyton next time we have a meeting like this she could get her own stuffed animal. So sweet! We are so happy to have finally have it done and over with.
