NIGHT AWAY

For our anniversary I surprised Branden and took him up to the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa for a night away. Since that is where we got married I thought it would be fun to go back and just relax. Last year we had just had Peyton so we didn't do a lot. This year I had to make up for it. We went and had lunch, got a massage, checked into our very nice room and got ready to head up to Santa Barbara. We had a GREAT time just hanging out and enjoying each other without the kids. We even got to rent a movie and watch without someone waking up, but I did fall asleep =0 I cant wait to see what this next year brings for us.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Two years ago Branden and I got married! I could not ask for a better hubby, friend and daddy to our sweet kids. I am so blessed to have such a patient, honest,loving, hard working, God fearing man. I just love him so much! Happy Anniversary

HOMEWORK STATION

We got a call from Papa Phil and Gramma Paula asking if we would want a little table and a set of two chairs. At first I had no idea what I was gonna do with them but I thought why not, we'll take it. After much pondering I moved it upstairs. Put all of Elton's coloring books, crayons, makers and crafty stuff up in baskets and TA-DA his very own work station. He loves it! He has been spending hours up here doing "classwork" and working on the most amazing pictures. Its so fun for me to watch and hear and see his imagination running wild. Next year it will really turn into his homework station since he's gonna be in Kindergarten =0 He is growing up so fast and I just love him like crazy!

FINALLY!

Ok it all started a long time ago... boy meets girl they date brake up and marry other people have kids and live life. They then get divorced and meet back up to finally marry who God really intended them to be with. My Uncle Matt and Auntie Kerry finally got married on Saturday!! Our families could not be happier. Elton and Micah were the ringbears and they could not have been cuter! The wedding was perfect and so beautiful looking out at the ocean.

WATER

Elton and Peyton LOVE the water!! Whether its in the bath, in the pool, on the sidewalk or in the sink. They will find it and get as wet as they can. Lately Peyton has been wanting do whatever Elton is doing. Usually that would be fine but they are 3 years apart! Peyton doesn't really get that and Elton is still learning "Oh she is tiny and that probably hurts her". But luckily this time it was just sweet the way he wanted to include her. Elton found some of those sponge things that dissolve in water and turn into something. He filled the sink and dumped a handful in. Then he got the stool and wanted Peyton to play with them too. Since she is a little too short I just held her on the counter and they had a blast. I love watching them play. She adores her big brother and he takes such good care of her.

WORKING

My parents own the house next to us and my dad wanted to remodel the bathrooms, and make them huge. Branden his dad and others have been working really hard to get it done. Since Branden and his dad are over there all the time working Elton thinks he needs to be helping too. The other day I came outside to get him and I found him on the roof with Papa Phil hammering away "working" so hard. He was having the best time. He is so all boy!!

STROLLING

Peyton WONT walk she could if she wanted too, but she wont! She loves taking a few steps smiling at us then dropping down and crawls away. WHAT THE HECK!! REALLY?? Anyway she has been loving walking with her new baby stroller. It is really very sweet, she puts her baby in and takes it out gives it loves. Shes a very sweet little mamma already.

BLOCKS

For Peyton's birthday she received some really fun gifts. Most of them were "girlie" so Elton wasn't real sure about them. But then she opened the BLOCKS it was a heavenly moment for Elton =) Needless to say that was his favorite gift! Thanks Evie and Jesse!!
