Muffin Surprise

Elton woke up this morning and had a great idea, he wanted to make muffins and surprise his pen pal, Buddy. Buddy is 3 days older than Elton and when they get together and play they have a great time. Buddy asked Elton about 5 months ago if he wanted to be his pen pal, so every few weeks we get a card and then we send a sticker, marker filled card back. Elton has really enjoyed getting letters in the mail. So today we dropped off some muffins and a very cute card then ran back to the car. I think he really likes the sneaky part, must be boy a thing =) Hope you guys enjoyed them!

So Sweet!

The other night Nana offered to take Elton over to her house to do an art project. Branden and I are glad to let him go, he always has a great time. Since we only had Peyton, Branden let me go take a walk and have some quite time. To have time to myself doesn't happen to often anymore so I was really excited. When I got home this is what I saw... nothing cuter than Branden loving on his baby girl. He is such a good daddy! Peyton LOVES her daddy, she is always so happy to see him and has the biggest smiles just for him. We are so blessed to have such an amazing man. We love you Branden Daddy!!

Pool Days or School Days

Usually Elton will go to school then we try and stay out the house for the rest of the day, since he doesn't do naps anymore =( Today he had swimming lessons in the morning with Ms. Amy and his friend Candence. Then he and Branden went to the park and came home smelling like they had a great time =) While they were at he park I got to do some girl time with Melissa, Kelly and Stephanie. Let me tell you these girls are so fun to be with and REALLY funny! Later in the day Branden and I thought that it would be fun to go back to the pool and play since it turned out to be a great afternoon of sun. The boys had so much fun. It has been really nice having Branden home, even though we both really want him to find more work. We won't have to many more days like these so we try and take advantage. Hopefully Elton and Peyton will always want to go to Nana and Gramps' house for pool days they sure are better than school.

A Good Day

Today was a great but very busy day. Elton had school, which he always loves. He cant wait to get there and the days that he doens't go he wishes that he could.

I met a good friend, Jen, this morning for coffee at our favorite place TARGET! Yes, we do our shopping and our talking at the same time. While I was out and about I got a call that my friend Amber was in labor. I'm proud to say that Avery Weir was born at 10:10 am. Welcome to the world little one. It was great to go and meet her today she is very cute!

Branden met with Pastor Bob and did there man thing. They meet up once a week for coffee or lunch and Bible talk. After we all finished with our tasks we headed out for an exciting time at THE CLUBHOUSE. We met up with some of our friends the Hesters. Elton has really been enjoying Cadence, he thinks she is a little fairy =) Its very cute to watch him with her. They played and and we parents got to chat. Its really been nice getting to know them!! Thanks for the invite guys!

Little Miss at 3 months

Peyton is getting bigger and bigger each day. Its crazy how much she changes and how cute she is getting, so here are a few pictures for those that are not around everyday. Here she is hanging out at Disneyland in her Tinkerbell hat.After church she likes her bouncer while we eat lunch. She is so sweet.

May Days

So I'm a few days past May but we had a few fun things happen so I thought that I would share...

Branden surprised me and took all of us to Seattle to see my sister and her hub but of course I never had my camera when I needed it. We had the best time and ate the best food. I think that's really all we did there=) No not really we did all the fun stuff. Elton loved the Space Needle and the Sci-fi museums. I loved the coffee and just walking around everywhere. I think Branden's favorite part was rolling down the hills at Gas Works with Elton and Dan. That was a great night and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard. So hopefully my sister will send me pictures! (hint hint)

Elton and I were trying to find something to do last week so we decided to make up some fun with some pudding!! Yes, pudding we made a big bowl of it and he sat on the counter and played and smashed it ALL over. He even used a meat tenderizer. The counters and his body we covered by the time he was done. He loved it and I got a good laugh.

So then the day before Eltons 4th birthday Mommy, Daddy, Peyton and Uncle Joe all went to Disneyland! We had the best day and Elton LOVED spending time with Uncle Joe. He is Eltons favorite person EVER!! They had to go on all the rides together. Uncle Joe you were so great thanks for going with us!!

I was putting him to bed when we got home and he said:

" Mommy you know what my favorite part was?"
"No buddy what was it?"

"Uncle Joe hes my best friend!"

It was the cutest thing ever and he is the sweetest thing sometimes.

Then to end the month we celebrated his big day at PUMP IT UP! It was such a great time. Pizza, cake and goody bags what else does a kid need on a Friday night=) There were 15 little kids running around and having just the best time. Even some of the parents were having too much fun=) Thanks everyone for making his day so special. After we can came home with the family and did his gifts, that was funny! He is really into Star Wars and boy did he get some Star Wars stuff! SO... Happy Birthday Elton boy we love you tons!

Worthy is the Lamb?

Yesterday in church we were singing "Worthy is the Lamb" and Elton being the literal boy that he is asked: " Mom why are you sining about a Lamb?"

I reply "We are singing about how Jesus is the Lamb of God"

Elton grabs my face and says "NO mom Jesus is a MAN!"

Silly me I guess I missed that memo. What a funny kid he alsways has us laughing.
