Santa Monica

On Friday Branden didn't have to work so we decided that we would do a few things around the house then head to down to the Santa Monica Pier. We had a blast! I haven't been down there in years and Branden had never been to the pier. We left early so we didn't have to much traffic. We went to the aquarium that's under the pier, Elton really enjoyed that! You can touch all the different sea creature and hold them. He thought that was the coolest thing. He also got his face painted, he picked an octopus, which really surprised us. Normally he doesn't like things like that. Then we headed up the stairs for some rides, games and fun. Elton and Branden went on the rides, Peyton and I watched =) Elton would probably still be on the rides if he could be. He loved them. We had some dinner overlooking the water then went for a walk on the promenade. Elton ran the whole time and climbed on anything that he could small walls, dragon backs, rocks, stairs. He had so much energy the whole time. We thought he would hopefully crash out on the way home but oh no he talked and talked and talked the whole way home! As usual Peyton slept most of the time, but she did enjoy her stroller and people watching.
